Year 5 Weekly Objectives W/C - 15.01.2017

Literacy

In Year 5 this week, we will be learning:
  • how to edit, change and develop a piece of our own writing
  • what a telegram is
  • to write our own telegram based on 'Around the world in 80 days'

Maths

In Year 5 this week, we will be learning:
  • rounding to nearest 10, 100 and 1,000
  • revision of addition and subtraction column method
  • solve problems relating to addition and subtraction


          

Year 6 Weekly Objectives W/C 15/01/18

Literacy

In Year 6 this week, we will be learning:
  • To research a historical figure;
  • To write in role; and
  • To use descriptive vocabulary to describe a scene.

Mathematics

In Year 6 this week, Mrs Mears' Maths Set will be learning:
  • To convert between metric units of measure; 
  • To read scales; and
  • To solve problems involving conversion of measure.
Mrs Mason's and Mrs Leslie's Maths Set will be learning:
  • To solve problems involving ratio and proportion.
