Year 6: Rugby
Sporting their coloured rugby tags, Year 6 began their first of many rugby lessons with Mr Murphy, who is currently teaching rugby to a number of schools in the Upminster locality.
After a warm-up that put the children through their paces, our tag-tackling players worked on improving their attack and dodging skills through a series of games. The highlight for our budding rugby stars was an energetic game of tag bulldog; they can't wait to play again!
Our new found love for rugby couldn't have come at a better time; we are all looking forward to the start of the Rugby World Cup!
